This is the most incredible book I have read on Sacred Geometry - ever! While most books explain Sacred Geometry mathematically or historically, this is the best one for in-depth study. Not only does Schneider show you how to draw all the figures, but he spends page after page explaining the IMPORTANCE of the figure and number. He connects every number to the next. He demonstrates how each is found in nature and why the universe simply wouldn't exist outside of Sacred Geometry. You simply cannot see the world, or numbers, in the same way after reading this book. What's great about the author's approach is he doesn't attempt to place Sacred Geometry as anything more than a fascinating and incredible reality. He doesn't turn it into some mystical, magical, woo-woo nonsense. Simply put, it explains the universe without attempting to imply something that isn't there.
Definitively, the best book on numbers in the known Universe! The author is eclectic and comprehensive and simply amazing! I understand numbers in a whole new way now. I wish that I had this book when I was being taught math and biology and physics. The book is poignant and beautiful and written so that anyone can understand the concepts. He incorporates ancient history, nature, spiritual traditions, music, philosophy and symbolism! Numbers are everything and everywhere! Really, I love it. It is my favorite new book.
This book is a masterpiece! There should be no hesitation in hitting the order button. If you want to understand the power of the universe and the aspects that may have been hidden from you regarding the mathematical perfection, vibration, energy and numbers; get this book!If you love calculus, art, philosophy, laws of vibration and energy (attraction) this is the tell all that connects dots on levels that go beyond the ordinary. This is truly an extraordinary book that I think ALL students should have to receive credits in prior to graduation from high school or college. Each page gets better and better and feels like a treat. The chapters are broken down by numbers. You will understand numbers in a way you may never have and the interconnectedness of everything. This is not a boring exploration of math...this is an exploration of the power of things you did not see. That's all I'll say so I do not spoil it!
This is my sons freshman math book. It is a crazy fun book! My son has a whole new love for math because this book puts math in fun terms and they use great examples. My son no longer says, "I'm never going to use this, why do I need to learn it" you all have heard that before. This shows real world examples of where to find mathematical principles. I just like the book in general, but my son thinks its an awesome math book.
Schneider provides us here with almost unarguably the best book on Sacred Geometry and its appearance and significance in the real world. It really is difficult to imagine anyone writing a book on this highly esoteric topic that could be nearly as readable, understandable, and thoroughly enjoyable. The profusion of illustrations in the work prove immensely valuable in trying to grapple particularly with some of the concepts that are deeply "intertwingled" with one another. Deriving simplicity from Nature's complexity is no simple task. Schneider accomplishes that and so much more with what has become one of my favorite perennial books. If you are at all curious about the basic building blocks of the universe, and their mathematical constructs, you owe it to yourself to read and reread this remarkable book.
After reading Michael Schneider's book, you will never look at nature the same way, ever again. You will SEE the pattern and intricate designs and structures of the universe in a whole new way. From the wildflowers to the galaxies, everything will become so clear and understandable. You will have to admit that the creation of nature is absolutely miraculous, and awesome, brought forth by absolute genius of something far greater than human hands and mind could ever conceive of, in this day and age. Our ancient ancestors knew what this book is teaching, and even their ancient civilization "left overs" (archeological sites) reveal the above statements true! Michael Schneider's book is more than a "keeper"...it is a study guide to be read over and over again...for the rest of your life!
This book is really about sacred geometry and numbers. It is a masterpiece of exploration and insight and the best I have come across. It explains the basic geometric principles and allows us to fully comprehend them by guiding us through practical exercises. The book reveals the stunning secrets of creation based on patterns of geometry, the magnificent order and harmony in everything, and how everything in our universe is interconnected. It explains how nature applies these principles reflecting order and efficiency and it shows what is possible and not possible in the natural world based on mathematical and numerical patterns. We find application of theses principles in our psyche for instance in what we consider beautiful, and we use it in daily living without being aware, possibly even many artist use it subconsciously without being aware what makes them choose their designs. The information makes us marvel at the incredible coincidence of amiss numbers, of the coincidence of galactic dimensions and other numbers in the physical world, and the perplexing numbers hidden in sacred names. The author converts the subject from a philosophical theory about things to actual building blocks of existence, and takes the subject from esoteric principles to practical reality, and thereby, one could argue shows how reality is permeated by spirituality. He changes sacred geometry from matter of believe to a matter of facts. The book is a must for those interested in sacred geometry, but also for artists and even scientists who are interested in understanding the bigger patterns.Haran, author of '75 Lives of Haran - New Insights into Reincarnation'
