I couldn't help but laugh at the first illustration because it looked like me when I got my Cricut machine, I wish I had this troubleshooting guide then. It has answered several of my questions and helped me solve a nagging problem I had with my die cutter.Without giving away the money saving tips about do-it-yourself craft rooms, I can't wait to "build" my own.This is not a dull manual. It's written in an interesting and informative style that's easy to understand and filled with helpful tips and tricks any Cricut owner can put to good use.
My daughter has been doing some scrapbooking and has been looking at Cricut machines for some time. However, when talking to friends, she has often heard many discouraging remarks on the problems encountered using this machine. Because this has been a topic of conversation with her, I purchased this book to have more information on the subject. Now that I've read this book, I'm going to purchase one for her birthday.This book really does cover everything you've always wanted to know about the Cricut. From comparing and buying your machine, to cutting problems and solutions, to how to do your own repairs, the author has left no questions unanswered. I particularly like the many links to Cricut videos.After reading this book, I'll definitely be purchasing a Cricut machine and I'll also be purchasing this book to go along with it for my daughter.
Very disappointed. It deals with Cricut Expression; I have Cricut Explore Air. Two very different machines. The problems I was hoping to see solutions for were not dealt with in the book. I had already figured out how to solve the easy problems but the problems I encountered .were more complex. I don't have/use cartridges. The amount of information in the book devoted to them was irrelevant for me. Had I perused the book prior to buying it, I would have realized it was not what I was hoping for.
This book is a joke!!...one star expresses "I hate it".If you're looking for a book that reiterates the instructions that come with your Cricut on how to load paper, turn your machine on, change the cutting blade, etc, etc then you may be happy buying this book.......... However, since the sub-title is "HOW TO MASTER YOUR CRICUT MACHINE", I wasn't expecting the ridiculous advise to rummage through your junk drawers looking for embellishments, to shop at garage sales for used cartridges, to make custom cards for family/friends, to frequent junk stores for supplies, etc etc.......A waste of time and money!!...Boo!
I have had and been using my Cricut for over 6 years and found some great information in this book. The author gave great advice on many issues that the beginner and well seasoned craft can and will use, worth the buy and read.
This book is loaded with tons of great tips. Very helpful for new Cricut owners along with long existing owners. Love all the extra troubleshooting tips. Very well done.
I thought it would lead into tips for the new Cricut Explore Air, but it didn't. Otherwise, it would be helpful if you're a new user to the previous models.
This book is a good reference guide and has excellent time saving tips. Not many good books out there on this topic so i really do appreciate the step by step guide, thorough explanations and easy access. I'm very happy i got this book and didn't waste anymore time on troubleshooting my cricut machine. Recommended~!
