I recently received the update version of this meal planner and I love it! It’s a spiral book, which makes it easy to leave open to the current day I’m on, no flipping through pages. There’s plenty of room to write the meal plans, I love that it has a grocery list spot although I think that could be a bit longer. The meal tracking part is nice, lots of room to write in my meals of the day. I was tracking my food on regular paper before getting this but now I have a nice space to write my food in now. I’ve lost 70 lbs in about 6-7 months and this book will be a great tool to help me continue my healthy meal planning/lifestyle.
I love this book but the printing of it is screwed up in quite a few places. The first mishap I noticed were pages 36/37 for the Calorie/Points tracker. It starts with ‘Friday-Sunday’ BEFORE Monday-Thurs. One misprint I can handle, but then it happens AGAIN on pages 42-43. I included pictures of the mis prints of pages 42-45. Super disappointed I recieved a ‘dud’ copy.
Whatever issues existed in the first printing seem to be fixed...all pages are accounted for and in order. Love the spiral design so it lies flat. Plenty of space to write and so helpful to track WW points and/or macros or calories, etc. plus weekly goals and exercise. Covers all the bases and keeps me organized, focused, and on track.
Love the idea, but like others have said - the pages are out of order. The example in the book is correct so this should be a very embarrassing error on the publisher’s part. I will attempt to continue using it because I spent money on this, but it’s disappointing and I think those of us who purchased this should be offered a replacement free of charge.
I really love the changes incorporated to this new version. It's spiral bound so it lays flat and if you like, you can fold the cover around. There's space to record meal plans for the week, a shopping list, spot for notes on any prep you may need to do, and space to record your food, calories/points, and exercise. Plus some extra suggestions and recipes scattered throughout. I only took off one star because for the second and third weeks, the calorie log for Fri-Sun comes before the log for Mon-Thur. I did do a quick check through the rest of the book and could not find any additional backwards logs so if you can get through those weeks, the rest is fine. Or if you prefer, just start your second week on page 46 and skip pages 34-45.
Really like the book and hope it helps me in the future. However, like other reviewers, I too received a copy in which the pages are out of order starting the second week on. Friday-Sunday preceding Monday...etc.So content A+Quality Control a big F
This is the perfect planner! Now you can meal plan, write a list, and track calories/points all in once place. It is a cute looking planner so I feel comfortable taking it to the store with me if I need to. Yes, there are a couple of pages out of order or that have the days mixed up, but you can just cross it out and write it in. I am normally very particular about those kind of things, but it isn't a big enough issue for me to warrant a huge complaint over. This is a massive improvement over the other book. This has a place to put a grocery list and the binding is spiral so it can lie flat. It also features a section for ways to make healthier swaps in recipes. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
LOVE the set up and everything this meal planner has inside. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because the cover was put on backwards and upside down. Luckily I was able to slide it off and reposition it. Other than that... great meal planner!
